Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial district in the National Assembly, Prof Nora Ladi Daduut has said that she remains a loyal member of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and has never had intentions of decamping to another political party.

Senator Daduut in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos on Sunday was reacting to a report being shared on the social media that she is amongst Senators who submitted their resignation letter to decamp to an opposition party to the Senate President some days ago.

She stressed that she remains a member of the APC and would work for its victory in 2023.

Senator Daduut called on the general public to disregard such rumour, advising the proponents to desist henceforth.

She said, “My attention has been drawn to the news going round the social media that I, Senator Representing Plateau South Prof Nora Daduut, is considering decamping from my party the All Progressives Congress APC.

“I will at best describe the rumour as malicious and a total fallacy emanating from rabble rousers who are hell-bent on maligning my integrity.”

“I remain loyal to Governor Simon Lalong and the leadership of the APC at all times and would work for the victory of my party the APC at all times .

“My loyalty to my party the APC is 100 percent,” Senator Daduut further stressed

“I would continue to put the interest of the people of Plateau South Senatorial district and my party first at all times while in the senate,” she added .
