The All Progressives Congress National Integrity Movement (ANIM), has vowed to ensure that the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, wins the election in 2023.
The National Leader of ANIM , Sadiq Fakai, made the statement during the stakeholders meeting of the group on Monday in Abuja
He said the movement would deploy resources and everything possible to ensure that Tinubu wins the election, “as he remains the candidate with the best chance of winning.”
The National Leader also Explained that the group had initiated dialogue with all presidential aspirants under the platform of the APC, as well as other stakeholders, in a bid to ensure that the party was strong and united as it prepared for the upcoming elections.
The group said every member of the APC was important and had a lot to contribute to the success of the party.
It said the intrigues, disagreements and controversies within the party were not unusual, describing such as the beauty of democracy.
”APC remains the property of party faithful, and we all own the party and ready to give our support, Fakai said.
It stressed that all stakeholders, especially presidential aspirants, which it described as top notch leaders in their own rights, had very crucial roles to play in returning APC to power.
”We make bold therefore, to state here that none of our presidential aspirants was a misfit.
”The task before us now is to unite and queue behind our candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu/Kashim Shetima, thus increasing the chances of overwhelming victory for APC at the 2023 General Elections.
The group said it had no doubt over President Muhammadu Buhari’s intentions to leave behind a legacy that his successor would build on to ensure a greater Nigeria.
The group assured all members that many people, including party executives and leaders were working tirelessly to ensure that there was equity and justice for everyone.
”These are the legacies that this administration and party is built on, and the president and other APC leaders are more than willing to pursue that to the end,” it said.
