According to the results presented by the returning officers from the local governments to the Independent National Electoral Commission , the People’s Democratic party PDP won in Barakin-Ladi, Bassa, Langtang South, Langtang North, Riyom, Mangu and Mikang while the APC won in Jos East, Kanke, Pankshin, Wase, Kanam and Shendam local government areas.
Based on the on the figure released from the thirteen local governments released so far, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party Barrister Caleb Muftwang is leading with a total votes of 1, 102
The gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has won in seven local government areas out of the thirteen council areas released so far while the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Professor Nentawe Yiltwada won in six local governments
There are seventeen local government areas in Plateau State, results of thirteen councils had been released by the Independent National Electoral Commission while results of Qua’Pan, Jos North, Jos South and Bokkos local governments are still being awaited.
