2023 Presidential Poll: Gov Udom declares readiness to restore Nigeria

Governor of AkwaIbom State, Mr. Emmanuel Udom and presidential aspirant under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has declared his readiness to restore Nigeria from recession to where it was before economically.

The governor who was in Asaba, the Delta State capital to intimate the state PDP delegates of his presidential ambition appealed to the delegates of the forthcoming presidential party primary to vote him as the party’s Candidate.

According to Udom, “I am here to do a whole lot for the restoration of Nigerians; to give hope to the young generation.”

He described himself as having the capacity, tenacity, amongst others to lead Nigerians.

“The burden is on me today to inspire the young ones to have hope.

“I come here to let my fellow Nigerians know that I am running for the President of Nigeria.

“We need leadership that can create good road networks and ideas. We tackle economic policies, I have the vision, the knowledge to rule the country.

” I am the best aspirant that will restore Nigeria from recession to where it was before economically.

“I am well trained, educated and well built up for the challenges”, he stated.

He described himself as a bridge builder that would truly rescue Nigeria, saying ” I offer myself today to aspire for the president of Nigeria.

On his part, Gov Ifeanyi Okowa said there is no doubt that Nigerians are in a very typical situation in this country.

He described Gov Udom as one with the capacity, knowledge and the level of integrity to lead the country.

“I think Nigerians need to have a rethink by voting PDP into party since for the seven years APC is not able to put Nigeria in the right shape”, he stated.

Responding, the state party Chairman of PDP, Mr. Kingsley Esiso reiterated that Nigeria is facing crisis of insecurity, economic hardships, amongst others.

He assured Udom that the two factors that would come into play: “capability and capacity to lead Nigeria and also a friend of our governor, is what he possesses “.
